Where to eat the best bifanas in Lisbon
You can find a bifana on almost every street in Lisbon, but that doesn't mean you should eat them everywhere.
As a local, here's my honest guide to where the bifanas are actually worth it:
Bifanas do Afonso: simply the best. At €3 cash only, you get impossibly tender pork tucked into light bread. The line outside tells you everything you need to know.
Trevo: a close second, and Anthony Bourdain-approved. Also €3, also cash only, also unmissable.

That's really all you need. Skip the tourist spots, find these two, and you'll understand why bifanas are a Lisbon institution.
So, when are you trying them?
